Dingdok respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement and how we respond.

1. Scope

Dingdok is a desktop tool. It does not host, store, or distribute third-party media, and it does not provide a public upload or streaming service. This policy nonetheless describes how to notify us of concerns about the Software, this website, or their use.

2. Submitting a notice

Send a written notice to the designated contact below, including all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of the material and where it is located, sufficient to let us find it.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Where to send it

Send notices to dmca@dingdok.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Incomplete notices may delay processing.

4. Our response

On receiving a valid notice, we will:

  1. Review the notice for completeness and accuracy.
  2. Take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the identified material on our website, or restricting use of the Software where appropriate.
  3. Notify the affected party where required by law.

5. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court.

6. Repeat infringement

We may suspend or terminate access to our services for users or accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright, where such accounts exist.

7. Misrepresentation

Please note that under applicable law you may be liable for damages if you knowingly make a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice.
