Batch mode is the fastest way to fill a library. Paste a list of links or point Dingdok at a playlist and it queues every item, removes duplicates, and keeps going while you work on something else.
Adding many links at once
- Click Add URLs in the toolbar.
- Paste one link per line. Lines that are not valid URLs are ignored.
- Optionally set a global quality and destination for the whole batch.
- Click Add to queue.
Dingdok parses each link in the background. Items that resolve appear in the queue; items that fail stay listed with a reason so nothing is silently dropped.
Queueing a playlist or channel
- Paste a playlist URL.
- Dingdok shows the item count before you commit.
- Choose a range (for example, newest 20) or queue all items.
- Confirm.
For channels, switch to subscriptions if you want Dingdok to check for new uploads automatically.
Duplicate detection
By default Dingdok skips items already in the library:
- Queue duplicates — skip if the same source ID is already queued.
- Library duplicates — skip if the file already exists at the destination.
You can clear the check for a one-off re-download from the item menu.
Managing a large queue
- Concurrency — download several items in parallel. Two to four is a good starting point; raise it only if the source tolerates it.
- Pause / resume — pause the whole queue or a single item. Progress is saved, so you can close the app and continue later.
- Retry — failed items can be retried individually without touching completed ones.
Practical tips
- Keep concurrency low on sites that rate-limit aggressively; see "Fix HTTP 403 and 429 errors".
- Sort by duration to clear short items first, or by added date to work through a backlog in order.
- Export the queue as a text list if you want a record of what was downloaded.
Next steps
Use folder templates to route a large batch into tidy, predictable folders automatically.
