폴더 템플릿 활용하기

다운로드를 날짜, 채널, 플랫폼 폴더로 자동 분류합니다.

Folder templates decide where each download lands. Instead of one flat folder, you can route files by date, channel, platform, or any metadata Dingdok can read, so libraries stay navigable as they grow.

The default layout

Out of the box Dingdok uses:

{downloads}/{platform}/{channel}/{date} - {title}.{ext}

Every token in braces is replaced at download time. Change the template under Settings → Archive → Folder template.

Available tokens

  • {platform} — source site, such as youtube or bilibili.
  • {channel} — creator or uploader name.
  • {date} — upload date as YYYY-MM-DD.
  • {year}, {month} — parts of the upload date.
  • {title} — video title, sanitized for the filesystem.
  • {id} — stable source identifier, useful for deduplication.

Common templates

  • By month: {downloads}/{platform}/{year}/{month}/{title}.{ext}
  • By channel only: {downloads}/{channel}/{title}.{ext}
  • Flat with dates: {downloads}/{date} - {title}.{ext}

Steps to change it

  1. Open Settings → Archive.
  2. Edit the folder template field.
  3. Watch the live preview that shows the resulting path for a sample item.
  4. Click Save, then choose whether to apply it to existing queue items.

Rules and edge cases

  • Unknown tokens are left as literal text so mistakes are obvious in the preview.
  • Empty metadata (for example, a missing channel name) falls back to Unknown.
  • Dingdok creates missing folders automatically and never overwrites an existing file unless you enable it.
  • Paths longer than the OS limit are automatically shortened using the {id} token.

Organising after the fact

Already have a messy folder? Point Dingdok at it with Archive → Import existing, and it will read the files, match them against the template, and move them into the right structure. Originals are only moved after a successful match.

Next steps

Combine templates with naming rules to control the exact file name inside each folder.
